THE EXPERIENCE

We’ll take you to one of the mountains with the most breathtaking views of the city, the Beagle Channel, and the Martial Glacier. Our goal: to reach the summit in time for sunset, and then descend through the native forest under the winter night sky.

The experience begins at the base of Cerro Martial just before sunset. We’ll start ascending along a snow-covered trail through the forest, aiming to reach the glacier viewpoint as night falls. There, we’ll take time to soak in the majestic snowy landscape and embrace the silence of the Fuegian Andes as darkness sets in.

To begin the descent, we’ll gear up with headlamps and hike down the main trail under the cover of night. During this stretch, the illuminated city of Ushuaia will appear below us — a magical sight.

We’ll end this unforgettable experience with a craft beer or hot chocolate at a cozy mountain bar nestled in the forest, accompanied by the soothing sound of the river flowing from the glacier.
